Limitless Superstar of the Week

Chris Nikic is an athlete, author, and advocate whose journey has challenged assumptions and inspired millions around the world.

Born with Down syndrome, Chris faced challenges from an early age, including low muscle tone and developmental delays. Rather than focusing on limitations, he and his family embraced a simple philosophy: strive to get 1% better every day. Through consistent effort, determination, and support, Chris steadily achieved goals that many once thought impossible.

In 2020, Chris made history as the first person with Down syndrome to complete an Ironman Triathlon - a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, and 26.2-mile marathon. Since then, he has continued to break barriers, including completing all six Abbott World Marathon Majors, while advocating for inclusion and encouraging people of all abilities to pursue their goals one step at a time.

Chris Nikic’s story reminds us that extraordinary achievements are often built through small, consistent actions. His journey is a powerful example of what can happen when belief, perseverance, and support come together. 💛
